Preparation

Thaw in refrigerator 24 hours prior to oven. Thaw in a bowl of cold water 10-15 min in plastic. The ham is fully cooked. If you plan to use within 5 days after it arrives, refrigerate immediately. If more than 5 days, rewrap in new foil and freeze. Use caution when opening your original package as juices may have collected during shipping. Will keep frozen for 6 to 8 weeks without loss of flavor. To thaw, let stand for up to 2 days in refrigerator. Check periodically.

Cooking Tips

Best Method: Thaw in Refrigerator Overnight- Grilling – Sear both sides, one minute per side. Raise grill, continue to cook until desired doneness. 2nd Best Method: Thaw in Refrigerator Overnight- Broiling – Broil 4″ from heat source. Rare, 3-4 minutes, each side. Medium, 5-6 minutes, each side. Quickest Method: Keep the chops in their packaging and submerge in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes or until completely thawed.- Grilling – Sear both sides, one minute per side. Raise grill, continue to cook until desired doneness. Pan frying: Thaw lamb chops. Season with salt/pepper or preferred seasoning, sear chops in heavy skillet lined with a small amount of olive oil and/or butter. Reduce heat.
